It's been a few months since my last posting. I have been very busy. A Major project at work, and a new baby on the way has left little free time. The joke was that I had two go lives within the space of two weeks. Now that everything has gone live successfully, baby included, I can now turn what little free time I now have over to my personal projects.

During the past few months I have discovered Ruby on Rails. My first impression is wow. What I never accomplished in a years worth of dabbling in Java / tomcat. I was able to accomplish in 4- hours of work. That includes downloading and installing the latest ruby and rails components that I needed.

Ruby may not be quite up to Enterprise level type of performance. It sure does appear to be something that can be easily used and implemented by smaller scale businesses and applications.

I have a couple of projects that I want to try ruby out with.
